Large Contingent with Cushman & Wakefield San Diego Helps Homeless in Support Day at the San Diego Rescue Mission

Rallying for their community, a mighty 35 team members with Cushman & Wakefield’s San Diego offices came together in full force for Support Day at the San Diego Rescue Mission on June 13th. The large contingency of volunteers spent their afternoon at the San Diego Rescue Mission in Downtown San Diego where they helped aid the homeless. The effort was a collaborative one put on by Cushman Cares, Cushman & Wakefield’s Women’s Integrated Network (WIN), and Cushman & Wakefield Future Leaders (CWFL). Gregory Hooker, who heads the CWFL San Diego Chapter, was instrumental in helping to organize and lead the event. Support Day at the Mission was also made possible thanks to the sponsorship and support of local companies Pacific Rim Mechanical and HARBRO.

In less than one hour, the community-driven Cushman & Wakefield team was able to assemble over 1,000 “I See You” packs for their local men, women and children in need. Afterward, the team then took a shuttle to East Village to personally hand out over 200 of the packs to the homeless community.
